This is my exercise1...see how I turn these vegetables to a chef:

How I do that?  

Select parts of an image using a variety of tools. Reposition a selection marquee. Deselect a selection. Move and duplicate a selection. Choose areas of an image based on proximity or color of pixels. Adjust a selection with the arrow keys. Add to and subtract from selections. Rotate, scale and transform a selection. Combine selection tools and crop an image.

How I do that? -

Select the image by using rectangular marquee tool. Select the move tool and drag the image to another picture. Later use the eraser tool to erase the unwanted background. This is because when you move the image, some unwanted background area also moves together with the image. Select tool to input the words. Click the background layer. Later you can see a layer styles and choose the styles that you want.
